Police were outside Life nightclub in Sittingbourne after a fight broke out in the early hours this morning.

Blood was seen on the pavement outside the High Street club, based above Burton, with forensic teams also called to the scene.

A spokesperson from Kent Police said: "We are investigating a report of an assault which is believed to have happened at around 3.30am.

" One man was reported to have been assaulted by another man. He received facial injuries and was treated at a local hospital. Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing."
