Boy arrested after teenage girl stabbed in Adelaide Road, Sittingbourne

A 12-year-old boy has been arrested after a teenage girl was stabbed.
Police were called at around 3.55pm yesterday following a report of an assault on Adelaide Drive, Sittingbourne.
Officers attended with paramedics and the girl was taken to a London hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
A 12-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.
An air ambulance was also called to help the victim.
The investigation is ongoing, and officers want anyone with information about the assault, including CCTV or dashcam footage, to come forward.
