Boy punched in unprovoked assault

POLICE are appealing for information following a seemingly unprovoked assault in Jubilee Street, Sittingbourne, at around 7.10pm on Monday.
A 17-year-old boy has told police he was walking home when a male approached him. It is then alleged that the suspect punched him in the face.
The boy suffered a cut to his lip which required stitches at hospital. The victim described the offender as being a black male around 6ft tall.
