Plans to open two new restaurants or cafés on a popular retail park have been withdrawn.
Last year, documents revealed multiple retails units could be added to Sittingbourne Retail Park.
Plans to move Swalemill Butchers of Kent, in Mill Way, which replaced Pizza Hut in 2021, were also included in the plans.
However, the proposed expansion into a new store on the same retail park, which would have been shared with a café or restaurant, have fallen through.
On Friday, March 10, the plans sent to Swale Borough Council were officially withdrawn.
It means the butchers, which is found next to the McDonald's drive-thru, will remain in the same spot.
The company looked at vacant sites in the town centre but no suitable places were found.
