Police chased a suspected stolen car for 15 miles before it crashed outside a pub on the A2.
There have been major delays between Bapchild and Sittingbourne throughout the afternoon and evening as a result.
Police pursued the suspected stolen vehicle from Wincheap to Bapchild, where the car crashed near to the former Fox and Goose pub.
It hit two parked cars and officers arrested two people in connection with the incident.

The route is now open but delays remain as motorists filter through past the accident zone.
Bus operator Stagecoach has told customers it has "no way of serving Sittingbourne" while the closure remains in place.
It says services to Maidstone are diverting from Bysing Wood, A2, M2, A249 to the country town.
Drivers have been reporting "chaos" on the surrounding road network, with school traffic and those leaving work adding to congestion.
