Driver treated for minor injuries after crash on A249 Sheppey-bound carriageway near Key Street, Sittingbourne

A driver has received treatment for minor injuries following a two-car crash on the A249 near Sittingbourne.
Police were called at 11.38am today after a collision between a Mercedes and a Seat Ibiza on the Sheppey-bound carriageway under the overpass at the Key Street roundabout.
One of the vehicles then went into the central reservation. One person involved in the accident has been treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The road has been partially closed and police are starting to divert traffic to the Key Street roundabout and then back over the other side.
One lane of A249 in the opposite direction has also been closed due to the damage to the central reservation.
