Cannabis farm found at home in Charlotte Street, Sittingbourne by police investigating burglary

Police investigating a burglary stumbled across a cannabis farm.
Around 70 plants were seized from a home in Charlotte Street in Sittingbourne during the early hours of yesterday morning (29 June).
Officers had been called following reports of a break-in.
One person was arrested at the scene, while officers chased a second man through several gardens before he was detained.
It is also alleged he caused damage to tiles after running along roof tops.
Officers found knives, along with several bags of newly-harvested marijuana and evidence of a cannabis cultivation inside the home.
Elton Martini, 34, of no fixed address, was charged with producing cannabis.
He has been remanded in custody until a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on July 29.
Eduart Skenderi, 46, also of no fixed address, was charged with burglary, possession of a bladed weapon and intent to steal along with criminal damage.
He has also been remanded in custody until a hearing at the same court on July 28.
