Second A249 crash in hours

Traffic leaving the county show at Detling experienced delays due to an accident.
The incident happened on the Sittingbourne-bound carriageway of the A249 near the Stockbury roundabout.
Kent Highways said vehicles were kept back in the showground while police arrive on the scene.
One lane was blocked by fully cleared by 7.40pm.
The three-day annual show finished today.
Meanwhile, traffic remains slow going through the Dartford Crossing due to congestion in the area.
Earlier today there was a multi-vehicle crash on the other side of the A249 approaching Stockbury.
