Police appeal after lorry overturns on M2 Junction 5 exit for Sittingbourne and Maidstone spilling beer cans on road

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after a lorry overturned on a slip-road of the M2.
A 42-year-old man from Largs in Scotland was trapped with a serious arm injury after it toppled on the London-bound exit at Junction 5 for Sittingbourne and Maidstone at 5.46am yesterday.
The driver was taken to King's College Hospital in London where he is in a stable condition.
The load of alcohol, including cans of Special Brew, was also said to have been "completely insecure", the tyres were in a poor condition and some trailer brakes were not connected.
Investigators want to hear from anyone who saw what happened or the lorry in the moments leading to it.
Officers are keen to see dash cam footage from drivers on the M2, between Junctions 6 for Faversham and 5 for Sittingbourne and Maidstone, between 5.30am and 5.45am.
