The M2 is clearing after a car crash on an exit sliproad.

The accident took place around 5.50am at junction 5 for the A249, Stockbury Roundabout, on the London bound carriageway.

A police spokesman said: "It was reported that a car had collided with a roadside barrier. No other vehicles were involved and there were no reported injuries."

The silver vehicle was being recovered.

There are delays on the M2 as well as on the A249 from Sittingbourne towards the roundabout.

Firefighters from Rochester attended and helped to make the scene safe. A spokesman said the female driver was shaken but not injured.
