A driver has been taken to hospital after a vehicle burst into flames this morning.
Fire crews, police and paramedics were called out to the coastbound M2 just after 7am, after a vehicle reportedly crashed into trees between junction five for the A249 and junction six for Faversham.
A police spokesman said: "The driver of the vehicle was taken to a local hospital.
"The road was clear by 7.54am."
Kent Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to a "vehicle hitting some trees, resulting in the vehicle and trees catching fire."
