15:20, 11 May 2016
Motorists are being warned to expect delays as access to the main road leading to a housing estate and business park is restricted for a day.
Resurfacing in Archers Park, just off Staplehurst Road, between Velum Drive and the railway line, the window for the work will be between 7am and 7pm.
During the resurfacing works, congestion will be controlled using a temporary stop and go traffic control.
A Kent County Council spokesman said: “It is inevitable that residents and businesses near the works will experience some disruption and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
"We will try to keep these to a minimum.
“Access to properties will need to be restricted for a short period while work is carried out in front of each property.
“If you have any particular access needs, please let the workforce on site know.”
