Bungalow catches fire in Sheppey Way, Iwade

Four fire engines have been tackling a blazing bungalow.
Fire broke out in the attic of the home in Sheppey Way, Iwade, near Sittingbourne, last night.
Volunteers were called out to support the occupants and neighbours affected by the fire.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "Four fire engines attended and crews tackled a fire in the roof space using hose reel jets and main jets.
"KFRS’ volunteer response team also attended to provide support for the occupants and residents in neighbouring properties affected by the incident."
There were no reported casualties. The cause is unknown at the moment.
The fire was spotted just before 11pm. Fire crews remained on site until nearly 1am.
