Firefighters put out fire on ground floor of barn in London Road, Newington

Firefighters were called to a barn blaze this afternoon.
Three fire engines were sent to the 600 sq m building in London Road, Newington, just before 1.40pm.
Crews used a hose reel jet and a main jet and to extinguish the ground floor fire by 2.13pm.
They spent a further 45 minutes damping down and making the scene safe.
