Fire crew called to fly-tipped rubbish at Gas Road, Milton, near Sittingbourne

A fire crew spent about an hour putting out fly-tipped rubbish which had caught alight.
One fire engine was sent to the entrance of Sittingbourne Household Waste Recycling Centre in Gas Road, Milton, at about 9.15am yesterday.
Emergency workers found a large pile of garden waste, vehicle parts such as wheels and general rubbish.
They spent about an hour putting the blaze out with a hose.
