Driver pulled from car by fire service after hit and run in Bell Road, Sittingbourne

A driver was pulled from a car crash after firefighters cut off a vehicle door earlier today.
Crews were called to Bell Road, Sittingbourne, at around 1.30pm after a collision between two cars.
They used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove a door and release one of the drivers inside.
Two fire engines attended the scene alongside police and left the scene 40 minutes later.
No other casualties were reported.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 1.25pm on Thursday to a collision in Bell Road, Sittingbourne involving a Vauxhall Corsa and a VW Polo.
"Officers attended, along with fire and ambulance crews and a woman driving the Corsa was taken to hospital.
"The driver of the Polo is reported to have left the scene on foot and enquiries are ongoing to identify and locate the person."
