12:00, 23 June 2017
Firefighters descended on a Sittingbourne industrial estate this morning to tackle a second blaze in two days.
Crews were called out to Crown Quay Lane just after 10am today to reports of an out of control bonfire containing tyres and other waste.
Witnesses had earlier reported seeing a huge plume of black smoke in the area.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames and damp the area down.
No one is believed to have been injured.
Crews were called to the same road yesterday just after 3.30pm to reports a small pile of cut wood, fencing and undergrowth were ablaze.
They successfully extinguished the fire just before 4.20pm.
