Greyhound track celebrates 10th anniversary
00:00, 16 November 2007
SITTINGBOURNE Greyhounds will be rolling back the years for its 10th anniversary on Friday.
A bumper crowd is expected for the event at Central Park, Church Road, Sittingbourne and, to mark the occasion, entrance and racecard prices have been taken back to 1997 levels.
Stadium owner Roger Cearns said: “Taking over the old Sittingbourne FC Stadium with my sister Linda and late business partner Graeme Living as directors was an exciting time. The last 10 years have flown past and we wanted to thank those staff and supporters from the early days with a special birthday night.”
