Drivers are facing heavy traffic on the A2 and M2 after crashes at Dartford and Sittingbourne this morning.
National Highways says two lanes were closed on the M2 westbound between Junction 6 at Faversham and Junction 5 at Sittingbourne due to a collision involving a car.
Traffic Officers were on scene and recovery has been arranged.
There was a 20 minute delay on approach with 3.5 miles of congestion.
Earlier police were called to reports a car had struck the central reservation on the London-bound carriageway of the A2 near Dartford.
Officers attended the scene where no injuries were reported and the vehicle was moved from the carriageway to await recovery.
Drivers on the M20 are also facing delays after heavy rain hit the county.
One lane has been closed on the motorway in Ashford due to flooding, and traffic is being temporarily held in Folkestone after a car collided with the central reservation.
