Man sentenced to spend time in hospital after car park stabbing in Quartz Way, The Meads

A man has been sentenced to time in hospital after police were called to a car park stabbing.
Officers were sent to Quartz Way, The Meads, near Sittingbourne, at about 4.45pm on August 13 last year.
A man was airlifted to hospital after being stabbed while sitting in his car.
Shane Andrews was charged with grievous bodily harm and four counts of having a knife in a public place.
The 22-year-old appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, July 3, and pleaded guilty to all charges.
He was then sentenced to a hospital order under Section 37 of the Mental Health Act.
