Hotel damage: man in dock

A YOUNG man accused of damaging Sittingbourne's Coniston Hotel and the town's police station has been remanded on conditional bail by Maidstone magistrates.
Joseph Williams, 20, of Barrow Grove, Sittinbgbourne, is charged with drink-driving, driving without insurance, racially aggravated criminal damage, damaging property and aggravated vehicle taking.
Mr Williams was granted court bail until Wednesday, February 19, on condition that he lives and sleeps at his home, remains indoors between 9pm and 6am, and does not go within 250 yards of the Coniston Hotel in London Road.
