A large cannabis farm has been uncovered by police on an industrial estate.
Officers were responding to reports of a burglary on Eurolink Industrial Estate in Sittingbourne when they came across the illegal operation.
They made two arrests during the call-out on Friday night and seized a “significant” haul of contraband.
Photos taken by a witness at 11pm on Friday show officers inspecting a warehouse and police van filled to the brim with cannabis planters.
On X, formerly known as Twitter, police said they attended a report of a burglary on Friday night.
“It turned out to be a cannabis cultivation, two in custody and significant evidence capture,” they said.
Police confirmed that at around 11.30pm on Friday, November 11, officers attended a unit where two men were arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.
A spokesman said: “The men from Maidstone and aged 30 and 35, were later bailed to return to the police station on February 14, 2024.”
