DETECTIVES are searching for a man responsible for at least 21 indecency offences committed during the past 12 months.

The offences have occurred mainly in the Albany Park area of Sittingbourne. The offender, believed to live in the town, is described as white, aged between 30 and 40, and heavily built.

He is pale skinned, about 6ft tall, with a shaven head or short fair hair. He sometimes wears a black woolly hat.

His clothing varies, but most recently he was described as wearing jeans and a short blue zip-up jacket with red stripes on the sleeves.

So far he has always been seen riding a dark-coloured mountain bike with front mudguards and a silver-coloured spring rack holding a black container similar to a cash box. A drinking bottle and an orange strap attached to the frame have also been seen.

Det Con Vince Straine-Francis said: “We are eager to trace this person in order to put an end to this offending."

Anyone with information is urged to telephone Det Con Straine-Francis on 01795 584199.

He added: “If you prefer, you can call Crimestoppers free on 0800 555111. Your identity is protected; nobody will ask you for your name or telephone number. You will not have to go to a police station, your phone call will not be recorded and your phone number will not be traced.”
