A leisure centre appears to be the latest victim of Storm Ciara as it has suddenly closed.
Swallows Leisure Centre in Sittingbourne told members it is shut "until further notice due to unforeseen circumstances."
Part of the centre's roof has come loose and a cordon has been set up due to falling debris.
Russell Kent, operations manager for Swallows Leisure Centre, said: "We can confirm that due to extremely high winds, there has been damage to our swimming pool roof. In the interests of customer and staff safety, and on the advice of Kent Fire and Rescue Service, we have closed the whole centre.
"No customer or member of staff has been harmed due to this incident. Once we know more about the full extent of the damage, we will ensure customers are updated via our Facebook page and website.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank the emergency services for their rapid response to this incident."
Firefighters were called to the centre at midday.
A spokesman from Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: "The area around the public leisure facility has been cordoned off while crews attempt to make scene safe due to falling debris."
