Lorry driver William Magee pleads not guilty to causing death of cyclist Barbara Phipps in Teynham crash

A lorry driver will stand trial next year following the death of a cyclist.
William Magee, 59, of Readers Court, Chelmsford, Essex, is facing an allegation of causing death by dangerous driving.
Barbara Phipps, from Lynsted, died after being involved in a crash with a Co-op lorry in London Road, Teynham on Saturday, February 13. She was 73.
Magee entered a not guilty plea to the allegation when he appeared at Maidstone Crown Court and a trial date was set for February 27.
Magee was granted bail until then.
