Driver arrested in Sittingbourne after banging is heard inside lorry

A lorry driver has been arrested on suspicion of immigration offences after his vehicle was stopped by police.
The 43-year-old was pulled over yesterday following reports of banging heard coming from inside his vehicle.
The incident happened on the Trinity Trading Estate near Mill Way, Sittingbourne, at around 12.30pm.
A police spokesman said: "We attended and arrested [him] on suspicion of assisting illegal entry into the UK."
