A249 between Bobbing and Kemsley closed after lorry fire

The A249 was closed in both directions due to a lorry fire this morning.
Emergency services including the police and fire service were at the scene between Bobbing and Kemsley.
It happened at around 9am this morning near the A2 Keycol Hill and B2005 Grovehurst Road and required three fire engines to attend.
Crews used a bulk water carrier, breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
Police are urging people to check before they travel are the fire service deals with the blaze.
No casualties were reported and it is believed to be an accident.
