Man admits burgling homes in Newington, Sittingbourne, Bapchild and Tankerton

A burglar has admitted stealing jewellery from five homes.

Precious items and cash were taken from properties in Brookes Place and Dennis Wilcocks Close in Newington, Brier Road in Sittingbourne and Randle Way in Bapchild.

They all took place between last Tuesday and Thursday.

A home in Wynn Road, Tankerton, was also targeted last Thursday.

Luke Dale, of Harkness Court, Sittingbourne, was arrested on suspicion of each offence on Friday and charged with five counts of burglary the following day.

The 24-year-old was remanded in custody to appear infront of Medway magistrates on Saturday.

At the hearing he pleaded guilty to each offence.

The case was adjourned for sentence on a date to be determined and he was remanded in custody.
