Man charged after Sittingbourne High Street assault

A man has been charged by officers investigating a serious assault in a town centre.
Police received called to reports a man was assaulted in Sittingbourne High Street on Sunday.
The incident happened at around 5pm.
Following inquiries, Nathan Parker, 30, of no fixed address, was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and common assault.
He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday where he was remanded in custody.
Parker will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on May 2.
