Man in hospital after being hit by car at Bobbing Roundabout, on the A249, near Sittingbourne

A man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car at a busy roundabout.
Police officers were called to the Bobbing Roundabout, on the A249, near Sittingbourne, at around 5.20am this morning (May 31).
Patrols attended alongside paramedics where a pedestrian was treated for injuries at the scene.
He was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for further medical attention.
Traffic was queuing in the area following the crash on the roundabout and the B2006 was blocked.
Officers were at the scene for several hours while inquiries into the incident were carried out.
The road was cleared and traffic had cleared by midday.
