Man charged after assault at Sittingbourne Railway Station

A 21-year-old has appeared in court accused of spitting at two people and trying to headbutt an officer.
Police were called to the Railway station, in Sittingbourne, on Tuesday after reports two people had been spat at.
Officers arrested Tubb in Sittingbourne High Street.
It is reported that he tried to run away before trying to headbutt one of the officers.
A search found 12 wraps of what is suspected to be heroin. He was also found with two phones and a sum of cash.
Tubb, of no fixed address, has been charged with assault by beating of an emergency worker, possession with intent to supply heroin and acquiring criminal property.
He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday where he was remanded in custody to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on a date to be determined.
