A man has been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods after more than 1,500 bottles of alcohol and soft drinks were seized by police.
The drinks, which also included four kegs of beer, were discovered by the Sittingbourne Neighbourhood Team while they were carrying out enquiries in Murston on Tuesday.
Sgt Jason Hedges, of the Sittingbourne Neighbourhood Team, said: “A substantial amount of alcohol is still unaccounted for and we would ask anyone who has been offered bar supplies by unlicensed sellers to call us on 01795 477055 or Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
A 37-year-old man from Murston is on police bail until December 15 pending further inquiries.
