The couple enjoyed a Big Mac at Bobbing McDonald's after getting married
A fast food restaurant probably isn't the first place most people want to go after they've just got married.
But that's exactly what one newlywed couple did.
Diners stared in amazement when an old fashioned wedding car pulled up in the car park of McDonald's, in Sheppey Way, Bobbing, at around 4pm on Saturday.
The groom, dressed in a white suit and shoes, then entered the building and spoke to manager Lee Pearce to check if it was OK for them to use the drive-through and for their wedding photographer to take images.
After being given permission, the man and his wife were chauffeur driven to the first window where they ordered and paid for a Big Mac before being driven to the next window to collect their food.
Moments later, they were spotted standing in the car park with their lips wrapped around either end of the burger while being snapped.
Annika Thomas, from Ashford, who was in the diner at the time, said: "It was pouring with rain and the bride's dress was covered in mud. It looked terrible.
"Everyone was just gawping out the window at them."
