A car has overturned on a stretch of the M2, blocking a lane.

Police were called at 8.15am after one lane was blocked coastbound between Junction 5 for Sittingbourne, Sheppey and Maidstone and Junction 6 for Faversham.

Traffic is said to be coping well.

A police spokesman said only one vehicle was involved and no injuries were reported.

Officers are waiting for it to be recovered.
