Drivers are being reminded about works to replace water pipe which has burst 32 times.
South East Water will begin digging up the road on Monday, January 14, to replace the 1.8km stretch in Borden.
Pond Farm Road will shut in phases over six months, from the junction with Cryalls Lane and Wises Lane to the junction with Sutton Baron Road.
Diversion routes will be put in place and the firm has pledged to make sure homes and businesses will be accessible all the time.
Supplies will not be affected as the old pipe will stay in place until the new one is installed.
The scheme forms part of the business's £424 million five-year investment programme, which runs until 2020.
