An accident on the A249 at Iwade caused lengthy delays for traffic earlier this evening.
The crash happened at about 6pm and saw officers cone-off the exit sliproad of the Sheppey-bound A249 at the Grovehurst Roundabout.
It involved a grey Ford Focus which was left pointing the wrong way down the sliproad.
Traffic heading towards the Island was affected.
It is understood the Sheppey Crossing was shut for a short while after a van broke down, also on the Sheppey-bound carriageway.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "Officers attended and assisted in the recovery of the vehicle. No serious injuries were reported."
