Two women had to be cut free from their car by Kent Fire and Rescue after they were involved in a crash with another vehicle this morning.
The incident happened at around 8.30am on Lower Road, Tonge, near Sittingbourne, not far from Teynham Station.
Police closed the road between Scraps Hill and Frognal Lane while emergency vehicles dealt with the scene.
Two fire crews attended and used hydraulic rescue equipment to cut away the roof of one of the vehicles and free two women trapped inside.
They were taken to hospital by ambulance but are not thought to have sustained serious injuries.
A Ford Focus and a Ford B-Max were the vehicles involved.
