Aldi, Asda, Morrisons and a Co-op targeted by shoplifter

Major supermarket chains were the targets of a serial shoplifter.
Aldi, Asda, Morrisons and a Co-op inSittingbourne, Bobbing, Milton Regis and Minster reported items being stolen between July 10 and August 25.
Staff members from the four stores said food, alcohol and laundry products worth around £170 were stolen.
Police investigated and arrested a woman on September 15.
Stacey Willet, of London Road, Sittingbourne, was charged with four thefts.
The 22-year-old pleaded guilty at Medway Magistrates’ Court the following day and was immediately imprisoned for 28 days.
In a separate incident on Sunday, September 15, meat and alcohol valued at more than £130 was reported stolen from a petrol station in Maidstone Road, Rochester.
Constables on patrol in the area saw a man acting suspiciously and he was arrested.
Kevin Carr, of Fort Pitt Street, Chatham, was charged the following day with theft.
He was also charged with the theft of wine from a Co-op in Corys Road, Rochester on June 30, and the theft of nicotine replacement products from Boots the Chemist in Fremlin Walk, Maidstone on August 30.
The 42-year-old appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (September 17) where he was remanded in custody to appear at the same court on October 3.
