16:00, 18 May 2016
About 30 firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a factory near Sittingbourne this afternoon.
They were called to Ridham Dock, in Iwade, at about 1.20pm after a fire involving a drying machine.
Six crews were sent from stations across the county, including Ashford, Sheppey, Medway, Faversham and Larkfield.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Crews in breathing apparatus used a thermal imaging camera to locate the fire, which has been exposed and brought under control.
"There are no reported injuries."
The response has since been scaled down to just two crews.
