Police at Fulston Manor School in Sittingbourne after teenagers trespass on half-day

Police had to be called to a secondary school after pupils from another school trespassed and threatened staff.

Fulston Manor School in Brenchley Road, Sittingbourne, had to shut its gates after two girls came onto its site.

They are thought to be from a nearby school which shut at lunchtime today.

Fulston head teacher Alan Brookes said: "Another school finished at lunch time and a small number thought they wanted to visit.

"A couple of girls attempted to wander in so we kept our gates shut."

A police spokesman confirmed that officers were called at 1.25pm to reports of a disturbance.

He said: "Two teenage girls are reported to have trespassed on the site and acted in a threatening manner towards staff and students.

"The girls had left the school prior to police attendance but no criminal offences were reported and nobody came to any physical harm."
