A woman has been cut free from wreckage after a five-vehicle pile-up on a busy roundabout.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to the scene of the accident on the Sheppey-bound A249 just before 1pm.
Two cars, two vans and car transporter collided near the Stockbury roundabout.
Firefighters removed the roof of a car to release the trapped woman, who was then helped by paramedics.
Motorists were warned of long delays, but congestion has now cleared.
Police say none of the people involved are thought to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
