An accident in Sittingbourne is creating traffic in the area.

Staplehurst Road, in the Chalkwell area, is partially blocked due to a crash between Cavell Way and the A2, London Road.

Kent Police confirmed at around 2.20pm officers came across a two vehicle collision.

They spoke to the individuals involved, established there were no reports of any injuries, and have since left the scene.
