Trains were delayed in Kemsley after some cows got onto the railway line.
Southeastern Trains tweeted at about 6.15pm this evening some cows were walking along the line between Sheerness and Sittingbourne.
The line had been suspended as they were walking along it towards Sittingbourne, and buses were on route to replace trains.
The tweet, which had a bit of humour in it, said: “Reports of Cows on the line near #Kemsley - trains under caution in the area until they’ve been Mooved.”
However, by 7.25pm the nine animals had been moved off the line and trains were resumed again.
The first one was due to leave Sheerness, at 7.51pm and the Sittingbourne to Sheerness at 7.54pm.
