Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash on the M2 this morning.
There were accidents on both carriageways between 8.30am and just after 9am.
Three vehicles were involved in a crash just after junction five for the Stockbury Roundabout on the London-bound carriageway.
A spokesperson from Kent Police said: "Kent Police was called to a three vehicle collision on the M2 coastbound, between junctions 4 and 5, at 9.08am on Monday 7 May.
"The South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended and two people have been taken to a local hospital.
"Lane closures have been enforced to ensure public safety and the carriageway was briefly closed to allow for debris to be cleared."
One lane was closed after the crash, which followed a single-vehicle collision on the coastbound carriageway at 8.35am.
No injuries were reported.
