Basketball starlet succeeds for England

EAST KENT Crusaders basketball player Ryan Richards helped England Under-16s to victory in the Baltic Sea international tournament.
Richards, 13, was selected for the event despite being two years younger than many of the others at the event in in Tallinn, Estonia.
England won all three games, playing against Sweden, Finland and Estonia.
Richards, who lives in Sittingbourne, where he attends Westlands School, competes for Canterbury-based Crusaders’ Under-14 team in the EBL National League, and last year represented the South East at the England Basketball Inter-Regional Championships.
