Sittingbourne's Woodstock Park has been passed fit for Ryman League football.
Inspectors revisited the WEM Stadium this afternoon (Thursday) to assess work carried out since the ground failed its initial inspection last week.
A team of volunteers worked hard to complete pathways, trim hedgerows and extend covering over terracing in order to meet league criteria.
Chairman Maurice Dunk said: "It's a big relief to get it all done. A lot of people have given up their time to make it happen. There's been a few crash courses in mixing cement!
"All the uncertainty must have affected the players but now we can get on with playing football."
The grading has to be in place for seven days before the ground can be used.
It means Bourne will play Tuesday's home match against Walton & Hersham at Whitstable's Belmont ground.
Ironically, Whitstable will be Brickies' first opponents at Woodstock on August 24.
