Manager Chris Lynch expects Sittingbourne to push on after back-to-back wins.

The Brickies beat Uxbridge 2-0 in the FA Cup on Saturday and followed up with a 2-1 league success at Ramsgate on Bank Holiday Monday.

It was their first victory in Isthmian South East after drawing at Whitstable and losing to Cray Valley and they are looking to build on that when they host East Grinstead this Saturday (3pm).

Lynch said: "The lads were fantastic at Ramsgate.

"It's all well and good saying we're working hard and have signed all these players but sooner or later you've got to walk the walk and we're doing that now.

"We're not getting away but we've had back-to-back wins.

"When I came in last season confidence was rock-bottom, the players didn't believe in themselves and we had a tough start, losing the first three.

"We then went on a six-game winning streak and we're at that point again.

"We've got two in the bag and I expect us to go on and get another result on Saturday.

"There's no easy games - it's a difficult league to read - but all we can do is focus on our lads and where we are.

"If we keep being positive, the results will keep coming."

On-loan Gillingham youngster Roman Campbell has four goals already.

He scored both in the win at Ramsgate and Lynch is keen to extend his latest one-month loan if possible.

His form will be attracting attention but the Brickies boss believes he should stay put unless the chance to play regularly on loan at a National League club presents itself.

Lynch said: "If the opportunity is there to extend the loan then of course I'm going to take it.

"At the moment, the key thing for Roman is people believe in him, we're giving him opportunities and he's paying that back.

"All the time he's here he's going to play and, ultimately, if he moves elsewhere he needs to be playing.

"That's the best thing for him until a Conference club comes in, because that's the level he should be looking at.

"At the moment, why not stick with something you're doing well at?"

Captain Chris Webber (thigh) is set to be out for a couple of weeks.
