KM Football Podcast 33 - Nathan Elder

updated: 07:42, 21 May 2019

You'll know Nathan Elder as a target man who's given defenders problems throughout his career but we dug beneath the surface when he came in to record the podcast.

Turning pro with Brighton & Hove Albion was a great opportunity for Elder but he also admitted the move brought its own challenges.

His joy of winning promotion at Brentford was tempered by fears he may lose the sight in one eye after a nasty challenge put him in hospital.

Elder's had quite a ride in Kent football, suffering relegation at Ebbsfleet before scoring the winner against them in the play-off final for Dover.

His three years at Tonbridge Angels made a lasting impression on the man who's now taking his first steps in coaching as Sittingbourne's assistant manager.

We're pretty sure you'll learn something new during this hour-long interview as Elder opens up about his career and hopes for the future.
