Joe Taylor is waiting to learn whether he is wanted by Swedish professional club Ostersunds.
The Sittingbourne striker, 22, flew home on Friday after completing a week-long trial with the Scandinavians.
Brickies joint-boss Matt Wyatt said: “We’re just waiting to hear if Ostersunds want to take their interest any further and hopefully we’ll get a call this week.
“Joe enjoyed the experience over there. He played a few games and thought it went all right. It was probably Joe’s dream as a child to be a professional footballer.
“It’s great for a young lad at 22 to have had the chance to be involved at a club in a different country and sample another culture.”
Taylor would have played for Brickies against Hastings last Saturday but for a waterlogged pitch at Woodstock.
The club's game at home to Chipstead on Tuesday was also postponed due to rain.
Brickies are due to visit Tooting & Mitcham on Saturday and play Ryman League, Division 1 South leaders Peacehaven in a rearranged home game on Tuesday.
