Kent Kings rider Sam Woods fractures shoulder in National League defeat

Sam Woods suffered a fractured shoulder as Kent Kings lost 53-39 in a National League speedway meeting at Mildenhall Fen Tigers on Sunday.
The youngster has a hospital appointment tomorrow (Tuesday) following his crash and could be facing a long spell on the sidelines.
Kings left Mildenhall empty-handed although captain Steve Boxall set a track record time of 49.68sec to win heat five.
Boxall finished with 11 points while Connor Coles again showed his potential with eight points and a bonus point.
Kent host Stoke Potters in the National Trophy at Central Park tonight (Monday).
